quick tip: stop trying to save it. erase the face and start over
trust me on thiss
also use a reference
Oughguh ur highkey so right with this but im so scared of not getting a similar result back
trace it on a new layer and then make that layer invisible, work on new face
if u dont like new face u can erase it and make the face layer visible againn
Ill try… but i feel like i mostly suck o the proportions since im not used to that angle
Im just hoping and praying someone could tell me what’s going weird with it 😓😓
I think you need to imagine the face as a foldable mask it would help you with the angles of the face
I tried redoing it
You are actually doing great. No fumbling being done !!
An eye being tilted slightly in the wrong direction really is small and doesn't devalue anything. I really liked it without having to break it down!
What helped me if these small things bother you is occasionally sketching characters or drawings from your favorite artists or animators. You'll realize things you've been told but didn't know how to apply, or even pick up minor techniques you like that make features a little prettier.
I'm not ahead of you in this, so I don't have tips other than growth and can't explain why changing this thing makes it better. But I can see from the original that it may look better when the eye towards the left part of the screen is raised slightly. That or the other one is lowered. It's misaligned with the latitude lines of the skull. It looks like you already fixed it a bit in the second drawing though.
Tysm for the tips ! I did ended up tilting it and making the eye a bit shorter
And changed the pose as well , I think im pretty satisfied
