(ibis paint) texture brushes?

this is mainly a question for ibis paint since it’s the one im using to draw the first drawing (w the garden). You can see in the second pic i drew it has kind of like an acrylic oil whatever texture (i used a different art app) so i was wondering if anyone had any brushes or advice for replicating that same texture effect in ibis paint? none of the default available brushes really do it for me. Rn the drawing looks kind of flat since it’s a bit difficult to replicate the texture i want to before i finish the rendering

additional critique on the drawings are welcome too but neither of them are really finished so keep that in mind 🥹

Flat paintbrush brushes would work

But idk if its even possible achieving this 3d oil thick paint stroke look

Flat paintbrush sets probably work best

(Ik this isnt ibis paint but it should have similar brushes as well)

that’s sort of similar to the one i was using but once u blend it out it just looks kinda flat

yea idk i haven’t found a way to or a good brush that can do what i want it to :/ might just have to suck it up and get procreate

try to prevent blending brush usually unless youre trying to do skin

i have the urges to spam blending but i try taking my painful times spamming new layers and manually doing a transition

color picking tool helps

the only oil brush they have lowkey blends by itself is there a way to turn that off lol

so im just sticking to what im used to for traditional but its a bit difficult to replicate the brushes and textures

yeah i want it to look less watercoloury and more gouache/oil

but like everything looks watercoloury somehow cuz there’s not enough texture 💀

Yhh its hard finding proper textured brushes unless youre using some paid pc drawing softwares😭

I used krita like twice and found it much easier to have textures though i havent used it for a while

do u know if there’s a way to connect krita to ipad or something?

i have a drawing tablet but it’s lowkey broken like the pen has parkinson’s or something so it’s constantly glitching 😬
