i recommend you draw the back part of yoshi so you wont be confused when you draw where mario will be
also if you feel like the placement or proportions look of you can use perspective guidelines, bc yoshi is very near the camera on the head, but too far on the back and that makes the sizes exagerated because of that perspective
Okay I’ll see what I can do thanks
nppp :3
I’d also like made the torso shape a bit bigger as if to help depict on the entire body since most of it isn’t shown it’s a work in progress but was this you had in mind or not?
I think your shaped need to be a bit more 3d to make sure your drawing doesnt end up flat and so you understand how 3d soace works better
This is much better
Should I also 3D to the poses as well like for Mario and Luigi too?
What do you mean
like do I need broke down the shapes into 3D for Mario and Luigi's poses
Oh yes that would help too
Okay 👍 got it
I added a different color just to not confused myself and others about where I put the proportions. I’d also added boxes for the head and torso but since Mario and Luigi are a 4 head shape height and not an average human height I looked up some references of them and used that to understand their proportions what do you think?
Here’s what I did thus far, I’m starting to construct and adding the details with both Yoshi and Mario, as well as Luigi. Though I can’t help wondering if the pose for Luigi would fit since I did want him to be holding Mario’s shoulder since it builds character, any advice for that?
Here’s what I did thus far
Wait… there’s more
