Honestly just going off of vibes LMAO, no real clue what I'm doing. I've tried learning how to draw on and off over the past year and a half and ALWAYS got sucked into the practice/tutorial hell and atp I just do not care how it comes out or not, I'm just throwing myself into projects regardless of the quality. As always, critique and help all welcome!!

I like the line of the spine you've done here. The thing about gestures is they're meant to be very loose. You're using guidelines which is cool but it's easy to get lost in them & everything come off as stiff. You can keep the line that helps with the spine/balance point of these figure but for a gesture it's best to keep it simple. I suggest doing a lot of quick (maybe 1min), tiny gestures on a single canvas. Just draw what you see & not where you think everything should be while following guidelines. Try to capture the figure with as few lines as you can. & Try to have fun w/ it ^^ I recommend Line of action for timed gestures ofc
