#I fear it is the nose

Bare in mind this is my second attempt at faces
The first one didn’t go too well
Im more of a painter
The things I noticed at first is you really elongated the face, you need to make it smaller as the man in the photo has a smaller face. I would also maw the jawline more square and define the chin. For the nose do not show the left nostril since the reference is at a perspective, and make the nose less diamond shaped and more of a downturned triangle. The neck should be angled since he is looking a different direction than from where his body is facing and make the start of his neck connected to the ear. If you want to really make it look like the reference I would add less hair at the back and add his stubble
Ahh
I think I could’ve done more time on it and noses are like my worst enemy and so are jawlines
Is there a way for this
Ro be fixed
To
any videos perhaps
I can try and find one for you

That one seems really good, I too use this method a lot
I’ve tried it but I can’t seem to do it
If u want to add me as a friend I can help and teach you some more. Just lmk if u need anything im always happy to help
No the face proportions r lwkey rlly off everywhere
oh
Aw ty I don’t add ppl tho
if I’m being rlly honest I think what you just said was really
Blunt and instead of helping you just critiqued it. Which I understand the whole point of art is to improve and draw but you just said that and not said anything else. I think you were slightly disrespectful there.
It might have been the tone of what you’ve said but it was blunt and I would appreciate it if you didn’t have nothing nice to say or any help, then say nothing at all here.
As this is my 2nd time doing this, I am still learning and improving sorry it’s not up to standard yet
You did allow critique welcome, Don't get mad a the person they just tryna point stuff out.
No that isn’t what I’m saying
I do want critique but I also want help.
Glad I didn't respond because I'm quite new to humans too, I did see some thing I could help but I didn't, sadly atleast you got help.
If you read my message it might have just been the tone of it or the fact that I dont understand tone due to my disability but I found it blunt what they said
I think humans are rlly difficult to draw
but also everytime I try and help some people
its either they stay quiet and never respond even to other people
no I do appreciate criticism
I’ve been criticised a lot here which was rlly helped
I’ve been given methods too on how to do this
It might have just been how I’ve seen the message
Even if you have a disability, It shouldn't stop your path to success. You should keep pushing forward even trying new stuff out of your comfort zone, Like I've been drawing animals for 3 years and I've started doing stuff out of my comfort zone that I hated, and its something to learn about, Yk the more you practice the better it gets.
idk if it makes sense
Yeah ofc!!! Tysm
I’ve always drawn but faces just killed me a lot
It was the reasoning I kept stopping
reason*
Im more of a painter or someone who paints objects
or even animals in some cases
I mean some people just draw faces more then bodies, and some people do bodies more then faces.
Yeah ofc!! I will learn along the way
i mean if it keeps you going with support ofc! you'll get to a place eventually
Yeah :) ty!
I dont mean to be so honest or kind, It's just something I do. I've had helped people mentally in the past ish and I've been trying to keep myself on continueing what I like to do, mentally keeping myself well. I'm tryna to be positive but I'd always love helping people or talking to people, The past can't hold me back from the dislikes of my art.
