I'm trying to design an idol character who's theme is the Sun in a school uniform. The school encourages self expression as long as you follow the dress code which includes a blazer and/or an undershirt, but this does not give Sun AT ALL. I'm obsessed with it, I think its adorable, but looking at this I would never be able to tell she's a sun character. I've tried playing around with the colors but now I'm thinking I just need to start over on the outfit. Any tips on how to implement more sun themes? ☀️

How about giving her acessories shaped like a sun? Hairpin sun, jewelry, belt, hairtie, etc. Will she not have a backpack or something to school? A jacket when its cold? Will she have a pen with a sun pendant on? Or a lunchbox as a sun shape? The options are endless, you just have to imagine more of the characters lifestyle than only one outfit cus that gives you a bigger wiggle room for personality
