I’ll try my best to explain but if you’ve already watched and read tutorials you might’ve heard this already? I’m not exactly sure how you’re approaching it either so if you could explain your process better like how you find your references and how you start the gesture drawing that would help.
When I look for a reference I always find the ones that have the biggest movements. I always try and avoid stiff poses. Also when you’re just starting out a longer time is better because I find it hard to capture everything and not get stressed when I have so little time. But also don’t make it too long or you may begin to hyper fixate on details and that’s not what you wanna do when drawing gesture. Obviously though this is what works for me. You may find that you work better under pressure. As for what you said like you don’t see motion or emotion. From what I can see from the drawings I’m not seeing any big dramatic lines. I think a key thing about gesture is capturing the essence of the anatomy with as little strokes so the use of C and S curves are very important.
Thank for response now for my process sometimes when i see a line of going threw the body i try to draw it then draw the torso then the limbs then the head at the end
For the csi curve i try i really do but as u can see it just is shit i actually broke my at the final one
For reference i just use line of action
1 minute each
The worst part is i finish before one minute is over like i have extra sometimes 15-20 seconds

I see. Have you tried watching tutorials? Sometimes seeing the live process really helps. Also try not to rush the drawing instead first observe and find the main points that make up the body. What I do is I identify where the pelvis the head and the collarbones are. Once I determine where they are and what way they’re pointed I’ll draw them out and find the curves in the body and use my C and S curves. Don’t draw circles or boxes and don’t try to structure it you’re not drawing anatomy you’re drawing the flow. My main tip now is to watch some videos trust me they help a lot. I highly recommend this one https://youtu.be/NAY5N76VP8M?si=WvdJZ2eKgoh9uTa5

Are you reading a art guide book for this??
I tried Reading Michael Hampton book and follow his vidéos and it made me more confuse than anything i also tried looking to live drawing from the book FORCE author and got the same confusing
What exactly are you confused about? 🤔
What am i supposed to do because from m'y point of u i just see them draw the figure with loose line that's it but they talk about movement
yo wsg
if i may,i just want you to learn anatomy once that's done it's easy to do whatever lose gesture angle u name it to do
I don't think i have the level for that yet
Nah man anatomy doesn't mean like crazy shit just basic geometry
I only been drawing heads and hands
And sometimes shapes with contour lines to try to understand 3d form
Tbh i would suggest posing yourself to learn better how the human body bends twists and reacts to poses yk
