id recommend smaller lines and less chicken scratching, try getting nice long and clean strokes rather than lots of little ones
you can use thicker lines in places like where forms overlap or in places where light wont reach, which is called line weight, i dont think its that advanced that you couldnt give it a shot
You can use what sum ppl call the line of action
(sry bout the blurry image, and lazyness) Example:
Have a line, and then build everything else of that. it can also help make more dynamic poses if you make it curve or smth 😋
hii you use a lot of chicken scratch 😄 try to use fewer and more confident lines. maybe change the line colors so the black doesnt stand out so much
In addition to what was already said, you have the facial features having smaller lines while everywhere else has thicker. Its recommended for focal points and the big important shapes to have thicker lines while everywhere else has thinner. Its recommended doesnt need to be a drastic difference. It just needs to create focus. The way it is rn my eyes snap down to the neck and armpits sooner than the face
yea, but in this pose i assume she should be standing straight up?
Wait huh
Line of action still applies even for standing straight. Most character sheets still have a line of action. Its just less noticeable
ah yeah but im confused why is it tilting to the right? like how would she balance herself if shes standing tilting to the right unless i’m missing smth below the drawing
Huh
Its cuz the line of action is crooked
Rn it looks like this
Mad you would want it to look like this (the line)
