Speed is something I heavily struggle with, I draw lineart, and it takes me 3 layers, the first being anatomy, the second details and third is finalizing it, however, the second layer takes about 80% of the whole drawing, I really try to get the details right, and it takes me 6-8 hours just to finish a single piece, do you have any advice? or any questions you'd like to ask to in order to further the context?

It really comes down to drawing using that technique over and over again until it becomes less of an active thinking. At first it takes longer because its not muscle memory yet

i been using that method for a long time now, the only thing it improves was the quality of my art, but not speed, in a way I think I got slower, what about you? do you have your own method?

stopped doing lineart
and just cleaned up the sketch
