What types/areas of references are you looking for? With internet access, all references are possible.

The best way, in my opinion, would be drawing still life for now. Being able to draw proper still life is more important than you think. Also add some shadow and light. Practice defining the object with different types of hatchings and find the best way for yourself. Also draw some fabric, random fabrics, bed sheets hung somewhere, clothes, clothes hung somewhere. Dont forget that youre not outlining, youre defining the shape. Try to understand what I mean here while practicing. Also if youre getting some allowance, check if you can buy yourself a proper artbook. (not clickbait artbooks please some of them are really unnecessary) The artbook doesnt have to show how to draw specifically. You can buy a book with only good drawings that you like and try to understand the artists choices, and try to replicate their drawings.

Try to learn controlling lineweight. I recommend using a normal, non-mechanical pencil at first; then you can try artline/ballpoint types. And for controlling lineweight, you can also try using brush pens

#

About the lineweight again, observe a lot. You have to change the pressure youre applying to pen while drawing. try to observe the reference and which places are the best to give a stronger pressure and which areas are the best to give the least pressure.

#

Try to observe a lot. Observing is also very important. Try drawing without just outlining objects, while drawing still life, these are so important so you can understand the structures. Its a really big step. Another important thing is applying perspective. Learn the three basic perspective rules in your free time when you have your phone/pc. Note them in a notebook, and try applying them while drawing still life.

#

I believe if you get over this stage properly, you can find a lot ease with drawing many things in general. Drawing anatomy is also really important after these steps but in the first stages its not good to practice from imagination without references. The best you can practice this without a device is by drawing your parents/housemates. At least yourself looking at a mirror.

#

if youre not that serious about drawing. You dont have to get that serious with anatomy and perspective too much. Still knowing the least amount would help very much.

#

Please dont assume that drawing some still life wont help you draw better stylistic characters. It will, if you understand how to construct them and how to define their structures.

#

And lastly, when you get access to your devices, try uploading your drawings here or at least to a good artist you know, and get some criticism. Don't take anyone's criticism as well. If youre not interested in how I draw, don't take my advice as a must. The reverse is the same. Even if you dont like my advice, don't just brush it away. Take the criticisms with a grain of salt unless it's from someone whose artistic style is your ideal type that you want to achieve
