Are you using a multiply layer?

Cuz it's super easy to make your colours look off by accident

yes yes like im not sure where shadow, light, and midtones are suposoed to correctly go 😓😓 it looks so easy when they do it but mine looks kinda strange 💔

Okok so if you have a non existent attention span like me I definitely recommend checking out Angel Ganev' yt shorts. He explains stuff super easily and has good like visual stuff to help understand what he's doing. The main problem though is that I don't think he ever really explains theory in one short so you would have to scroll a bit to get all the info in. If you can actually sit down and listen then I'd recommend Peonypaints' light and shadows vid

And then watch Angel Ganev to see how to put it to use
