@finite remnant I really like the mood and the brushwork in this it feels very natural and atmospheric. I do think the lighting could be pushed a bit more though. Right now it’s a little flat because everything is in a similar value range, so adding a clearer light source with brighter highlights and deeper shadows could help give it more depth and make it pop.

The main issue i see with your gras is a perspective problem. You have rendered blades into to your painting at almost the same size near and far. Look at some master works on how they did flora. You will see only the closest vegetation is clarified. All other vegetation as it moves into the distance, the forms are suggested and an appropriate distal scale maintained.
