Hi! I’m wondering how to make the tail stand out more while still staying in the same range as the outfit and overall color but both of the colors I tried ended up looking too close to the top color..
#How do I make it stand out?

add a background
Not the point, ill add it later tho
Colors help. Right now they are kind of dark and all of the same saturation from the looks, no color seems to try to grab the attention apart from the purple in the eyes but the issue as presented is that you’re using a color that is close to the color of the eyes for her outfit. So those elements are conflicting each other causing the viewers eye to go up and down rather than to progress toward the eye which would the focal point im guessing?
You should have the colors become less saturated from top to down if the focal is the eye.
Just some suggestions.
Really? Thanks I’ll try, I need her outfit to be vibrant tho
So, I don’t really know if I didn’t understand bc English isn’t my native language but, it doesn’t really the theme I was going for, and her tail still look way to bland in
Why not make the tail go in front of her
Hm, I would also add that the pose doesn’t stand out either? Like thinking silhouette wise the arms being tucked isn’t interesting because they are static, no movement or fluidity occurs causing nothing to catch the eye as well.
You also should try to invite a story to this character, I can’t make anything out because they are wearing very normal clothes with only a hint of identity with the head and tail.
