Tried to render an egg with a ref ofc.
Didnt capture the exact proportions of the egg
But i dont think thats the end of the world.
Just wonder if anyone could point out where i am going wrong with the process of rendering.
I have tried to render many times but for some reason it always comes out looking off or muddy.
Plz help. 😢

Don't feel discouraged; this looks good! Maybe blending it out with ur finger, tissue, or blending stump will help with some of the muddiness? Also, I would incorporate a soft bounce light on the lower part of the egg where the light would bounce off from the floor onto the egg, creating a slight lighter area on the bottom

The only main shadows are here and they’re not that dark
