I would appreciate any general help with this because i am not very satisfied with how it looks! I also cant find a refrence for the doodled hand, thanks!

I think the arm could have bent earlier

When drawing arms the elbow bendy area are typically where the bottom of the ribs are

I know that’s a shit example because i drew the ribs different lenths but uhh don’t shoot the mess

Anyway if you were to unbend your characters arms the elbow area would be at the hips

Oh wait i didn’t read your thing fully through mb! I can help with the hand

Now for the hand, the reason why its hard to find references for it is because that pose isn’t something our hands naturally do when rested like that

You can find similar poses but they either won’t be the same because they are more relaxed or vise versa
