if its a rough draft then so far it looks good
but imo its the hair
as a stupid young artist
i love it eitherways your goated at it
but im not a critque guy
i just don’t know about the facial expression, looks very weird
she’s like, faking it?
make the irises bigger maybe? smaller irises are used in anime to make a character look scared so ya
also the nose should be a tad bit lower 🙏🙏🙏 looking good so far!!
The reason she looks "traumatized" is because you can see the whites of her eyes on the tops of her eyes, which is common in looks of fear. The mouth looks great tho^^
a bunch of anime styles tend to show the sclera when smiling//scared, it's mostly the brows & pupil/iris shape that makes the expression either happy or scared/worried
imo it looks good, it's mostly the << eye that's throwing you off
it's rotated way too much & the shape of the iris doesn't match that of the other eye
lower the nose a lil like savitee pinted, make the mouth a little smaller and you should be good 2 go
rotating the canvas everytime u can would help a ton in these situations
This is kinda what I was trying to get at /nh
thing is that if you slap some regular arched brows and a smile to the bottom eyes, it'd look like a regular happy face
omg the eyes]
i wuv emm
yujmmy sart
Aw ty
I'm not saying that only eyes do all expression work, it's also eyebrows and mouth, but when isolated you can tell expressions easily with just eyes /nh
I’ll try an adjust it!!
kind of
yeah yeah i gotchu
Glhf!
Ty!!
Like the big clump?
Wdym
Like this and my sketch, the pupils do a lot, especially in anime styles
Which white?
The sclera
Let me look that up lmfao
The heavy lifting (imo) is slightly large, lemme do a quick example
should I like make the sclera a little bit less seen?
Tried emulating your style as close as I can, I did two versions
