#How do I draw bodies?
4 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Hi, I keep sending this to people but it works so; you find a reference, then see picture # 1, you wanna roughly get down a head, spine, limbs, shoulders, and pelvis line(s). Then block over the reference to make easier shapes to recreate instead of eyeballing it. You can block it down as much as you want, making as many small shapes as you want to get the details down, see image # 2 for the blocking.
I separated the two layers for easier viewing of each layer, but you can do 1 then 2 on top.
Don’t trace the shapes you draw, just recreate them on your drawing media. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions or further questions don’t hesitate to ask!
If you can’t find a reference be your own reference with aid of a mirror! Or politely invite a friend or family member to be your reference and find a suitable way to repay them for being your model haha
