#i want instructions on how to start commissions

hey everyone, i don't need help with art specifically but with COMMISSIONS, im trying to open commissions but i have zero idea how much i should charge for my art, the payment methods, how to deal with the costumer, etc...does anyone here know how to help me with that? or is there a better place to ask ppl about these stuff?
ive never done this in my life..tho, here is some examples of my art to help me with the pricing

hellooo so I think the most important part is to make good research on payment methods and common scams. It is a business and u need to be informed so:
choose payment method, paypal is the most used one. make some research how to use it correctly, paypal require u to use paypal invoiced for services and I would recommend that to avoid getting your account shut down. invoices has an additional fees, not sure if it is % or fixed fee so make a research and add it into your total price ( what you want to earn + fees = total ) so u are not losing money
for common scams make sure to do research what are the most used ones, how to avoid them (usually the answer is using invoices)
there will be some good yt videos about both topics for sure

price wise - it's your own earning. my rule of thumb is having some price expectation + fees + additional price that will cover unexpected redraws and such. remember that your price should reflect how much u value your work.
u can do some research and check #🛒╭・commissions , find people at similar art level and see how much they are charging if u are not sure at all how much u should charge

make some type of terms of service where u state some general rules. will be easier for u and client to know what to expect. also should be on yt
