so, ive never been super skilled at acrylic painting and usually do digital work and used to do more watercolor stuff. but my grandma asked me years ago in high school to make an acrylic painting of a photo she took of the sky reflecting on the lake on the day her father died.
ive tried for years to make this painting and gave up and finally decided that i was going to do it. her 75th bday is coming up on sept 27th and im almost done but i feel like it could be better, i just dont know how.
i know its not exactly accurate and thats okay with me i dont expect perfect realism and i dont have a way to project the image. i mostly want help with making the textures on the trees and cloud look a bit more clean and realistic.
tldr: need advice on how to make the tree and cloud textures look better. also maybe help on color matching the sky cause i can tell theres splotches near the clouds i used for clean up that stand out
( close up photos taken in worse lighting sorry! )
