#One point perspective advices

When using one point perspective, horizontal and vertical lines (not going toward the vanishing point are perfectly straight!
You should try using a ruler/straight object to see if the lines going to the vanishing point are straight too
For each rectangles only 4 go toward it, starting from each 4 corners like you did
You've angled horizontal lines when they shouldn't be
You need to make all horizontal and vertical lines are parallel with the main shape. Boxes and cubes are made up of entirely right angles
Okay! So i should try to get better at drawing straight lines ?
Okay thanks !, should i practice with ruler first to master this before going with hands only?
Work on freehanding parallel lines. Yes rulers can help but its also important to know how to make straight, parallel and perpendicular lines without using any ruler
I see,thank you for the advice ^^
Hey so i keep practicing one point perspective and your advices really helped me!
That's great, glad I could help!
You should try out two point or even three point perspective too,
Once you master those you can draw any shapes in perspective
I thought about it but, i wanted to master entirely one point perspective, guess i am a little bit scared to mess things up ^^'
That's totally fine!
Once you learn to use those vanishing points well though it becomes a piece of cake, when I begun I made grids of a few lines with the ruler so I don't start with nothing and learn incorrectly
Then as I got eye and muscle memory is just became second habit
It might sound a little bit Silly but, i wonder how can i use perspective to implement it on my drawings or how to use it to draw landscapes.since ive just been drawing shapes
I'm not very experienced in lanscapes, but I sure did use one point perspective when doing landscapes myself:
For instance, the horizon line at the base of the mountains, and used vanishing lines for clean expanses of trees going far into the distance toward the vanishing point
You can also easily use one point perspective for roads
Two point for street corners
And three point to exaggerate height, whether bird view or rat view
Think of watching a building from below, and watching a building from above
Of course it doesn't have to be a building, anything big
Okay i'll try it some day!
