@granite elbow thank you I've been drawing portraits for quite some time but only just got into using colour usly my drawing tend to be just black and white so I can easily pick up on shadows but with colour it's hard since I'm new to it I've looked on tiktok n YouTube for help and haven't had any luck it's just I'm not sure how to blend ? Cause I want my lines to be smooth and blend the colour together that's kinda my struggle

your pencil strokes are heavy right now. Lighten you hand up a bit. You can always go darker, but once you go dark it's done and going lighter is hard.
-
for the background, your pencil coloring is all over the place. Pick one "line" to move the pencil on and stick with it for the whole background.

Search terms for tutorials will be "color shading practice".
@deep sleet I used a red Texter for the background then it ran out of ink so that's why some the the background lines look abit funny which I probably should of used a red pencil for it and yeah my pencil strokes are all over the place and my pencil strokes are heavy cause I'm so used to using heavy strokes with my portraits I probably should have tryed with lighter lines and with drawing and colouring with colour pencils with the drawing should I draw it out with colour pencils or grayled ?
You don't use lines as much with color work if you want smooth shading as an effect. You lightly rub the side of the color lead along the paper, just enough to get color on the paper. Do a single pass around your edges first, aiming to not go outside your edge, and move inwards. Be gentle with shading work.
Understand that coloring with marker and coloring with pencil are different things completely and will look very different. Marker puts color down on the paper differently. So your techniques will be different for each.
