I finally got the iPad!! It's a 13in iPad pro with an Apple Pencil Pro 😄
I'm looking for a good art program to start doing iPad digital art with. So far I've only tried adobe fresco and I want to know if there are better options. I'm okay with spending money as long as it's a one time purchase (non subscription)
This is my first iPad and I had previously been using a 7in screenless drawing tablet and medibang pro for digital art, and graphite and paper for traditional art.

Hii! My favourite drawing app has to be Procreate, it’s £10.99 or $12.99, but it’s a one time purchase with no ads and the ui is pretty easy to understand, is why i picked this when i started :)
There’s also ibisPaint X which is free and quite popular, I have it but don’t use it, but im pretty sure it has galleries to view others’ art if they post it, so it has a few more features than Procreate, but it has ads and personally I find the ui harder to figure out. There’s an optional subscription too which removes ads but idk much about it
And then there’s ibisPaint (without the X) which I haven’t used and im not sure what it’s like, but it costs £9.99 and im not sure in USD :)
Im using csp and i like it way more than procreate
i think csp is a subscription on mobile, no? and its so much more expensive.
id say procreate is your best bet
oh yeah i forgot about clip studio paint
i find the ui seems pretty hard to understand so it might be more intimidating for beginners
-# (like me)
yea its a subscription on ipad
Honestly it's worth it i think my work looks way better than on procreate
But i think it's good to try out various of programs
the op said specifically, no recurring payments 😭
Oh sorry I didnt noticed that
Honestly i think its hard to find a good program on ipad without paying
RECURRING
like subscriptions yknow
they said theyre okay with one time payments
just not subscriptions
Okay sorry didnt know that word im sorry 🙏
