I had another diary but I accidentally locked it so I’m starting this one so I have somewhere to catalogue the progress of my drawings and to just yap about art.

I’m working on this drawing right now and I’m mixed about the mouth of the second head. Everything else about it so far is awesome though. I’m trying this new technique with my contour lines (which is essentially just use a bunch more). It’s already a huge improvement for depth and range of values. The new paper I’m using is heavier than what I usually work with so I can get fun textures like the snake body at the bottom.

Nice art. The all seeing eye is a nice touch. They look like a cult or something.

I was really hesitant to add it and really didn't like the first attemt at it

remnants of the first try are still there with the silhouette around it

it kinda gives into it being a thing you can't fully see though
