What do you mean by "start to sketch?"
If like...practice, then do some sketching on your usual art. Like people, objects, or even a little mix of everything. Just make sure to try and incorporate what you learned from tutorials online, like Line of Action, Framing, anatomy, shadows, etc...
If by drawing itself, I would recommend the general guidelines like lines and circles, then basic shapes
If generally practice and drawing, then of course, start with looking for a reference pose / object, sketch its basic shapes and line of action, then start building up from that. It's usually from wherever you're most comfortable starting with.
@gray sparrow I would suggest you to check out draw like sir yt channel it would help u alot
I used his videos but I merely understand 😭 i guess draw like a sir is not a option for me
Kuddos to you , 😭 thnx for your precious time. I understood your suggestion from where to start . I guess the basic lines and fundamental shapes would help me better in the starting (this will take too much time for sure 😞) let see how much I m gonna stick with this advice
@gray sparrow Start with basics:
Daily warm-ups: lines, circles, boxes
Basic 3D forms: cube, sphere, cylinder
Perspective: 1-point & 2-point
Still life: sketch simple objects
Gesture drawing: quick poses from reference
Some channels I would suggest
Proko , Mmmmonexx , David finch
