rendering help

hi! i’d like some help w my hair rendering if possible. i don’t usually do this type of style and i’m really struggling. it looks disjointed compared to everything else, and i’m struggling to make it look realistic. also, any other crit is very welcome, i’m having issues lol. @ me please :)

I think the hair looks amazing!!! Maybe what could help it look better is adding a bit of shadow under the hair on the lit side of the face, and also using a slightly darker color around that part of the face to give it more dimension. Like this:
