Tips on improvement?

I just finished this piece, I couldn’t come up with a background so I’m also looking for a good background idea. Also, are there any things I can improve on regarding the rendering?

2. I would add more lighting (I guess from the sun, so from above)
3. I would add more to the background, like a pattern, gradient, something like that!

I will add some stuff regarding the character, but I wanna know if the background works before I do that

I like it! You may have to make the lighting of the character (which looks more bluish and cool in tone) match the lighting of the background (which looks more orange and warm in tone) other than that, it's nice!

Looks so great already! But yeah, maybe something to fill up the empty space, like some other buildings or like destruction in the background
