I have started to draw at the start of the school year, I thought I have improved alot and wanted to copy this art to test myself, we I was done I was proud but when i showed my brother he said he couldn’t understand it, this hurt me because I was practicing every night one problem I had drawing was making things too complicated to see, I ask if this hard to see and if it is what should I improve?

I can't tell what's happening either tbh and I have the reference 😓
You should do some silhouette studies to really hone in on capturing the figure and shapes

Also do you have any videos that turn the box torso into actual torso
Whatever you're comfortable with. When I am doing these studies, I tend to look at the reference more than my picture to try to understand the line of action better

For gestures and such, like Prykations said, about 30 seconds to a minute.
