It's very nice, although, you'd need to improve how the fabric overlap with the character's body
What are their arms doing?
Looks really good for this artstyle, but one tiny thing you can add to boost the work is like weight to your line art

There's some other things id change but they're not all too important, if you'd like to hear them lmk.
Looks nice!
A few improvements would be changing the chest as it does not follow the direction of the torso, because the whole body is pointi to the right and the chest looks as if it was looking straight at the viewer. The mouth should also be placed more to the right, even if it's stylized it could look better. And the clothing wrinkles are too much and look random, try to make them based on how clothing would wrap around the body in the different areas, and draw them mainly in areas where the clothing is folding and bending such as the armpits or where it's tucked in the skirt. In the chest it doesn't make sense to have that many wrinkles as clothing in that area is being pushed forward instead of folded. Hope it made sense lol
This is an example of how clothing folds work. Notice how there's only a crease on areas like the armpits, the waist or under the chest where fabric is being folded, but the chest area looks completely smooth because the fabric is being stretched outwards so no crease will form
And now that I'm looking at it, her left arm also looks odd, especially if thats meant to be the back of the hand, because the wrist can't bend that way. Did you use a reference for this??
This work looks traced, the head looks too nice, but then the rest of the figure is oddly positioned especially with the left hand having the pinkie being on the left instead of the right. Prob ai trace
I don't think so, I think the head matches the level of the rest of the body because the head also looks slightly off. I think he just struggles with clothing and chose a difficult pose for the body. Maybe tried following a reference and didn't get it totally right
Also the hand is too detailed to be traced from ai, ai would do a meat mush
I don't think AI struggles with hands anymore, not at least for an anime art style no? I've seen some recently and they arent terrible as they used to be. But it doesn't mean they could've just not traced the subtly of the hand mush
minor nitpick since people have already listed the major points
the gap in lineart for her chin doesnt line up with the other end
I got a timelapse if you want. it is not ai or traced it uses sevral refreneces which i probably should have creadited tho.
I also tried to fix the body after looking at more refrences and looking into tyipcal anime folds.
These are the lines and stars int he background since its a place holder. I just wanted a idea of how it would look otherwise it may become too crowded on the canvas and distract from the focus the girl.
Some anime and anime artist do that so I do as well. Its just a stylistic thing Im sure dosent bother peoplke to much.
Done this hope it looks better now
He right, Im so used to charecter in the void that most of the time their either standing up straight or thier legs are mostly off camera.
You mean I'm right or the guy I was replying to is right??
You
I dont trace and i try not to use the clip studio models for more than practice.
Oh nice
The main issues are still there tbh
The chest is an improvement but it should be even more firm bc it looks too saggy for a pose that is pushing the chest forward
The folds are still too much (even tho they make more sense now), and the arm is in a very weird and uncomfortable pose
But I like the fixes u made
The one on our right? (For the arm)
Can I draw over it and show u how I think it would look nicer?
Yeah sure
All the clothing folds. There are too much of them
this makes more sense because folds should only appear when the cloth is being creased, like when something bends inwards, and that doesnt really happen in the torso, because she is pushing it outwards
you can add more folds at the bottom where the fabric is being kinda pinched by the skirt, if u know what i mean, but everywhere else they were too much
specially because it looks a bit tight
i also touched up the skirt, the mouth and remade the arm. the arm looks horrible, i know, but its just to show more or less the idea
hi first time here didn’t know i was in this chat. my opinion..extend the face. fix the hand, bend the other arm in, put the subject higher so that you can add just a little more leg and skirt…overall, great job with the composition. you’re heading towards the right direction. keep going.
Looks much better, but if I were you I'd go over it with a slightly larger brush and add line weight specifically to where I want the viewer to look first, or where there is a lot of weight in the clothing
Left hand looks odd also it has too many details compared to other part that it draws too much attention
Every time i try to look at her face her left hand is always pulling me to look at it
The arm leg and skirt is cause i didnt want to draw them/ tried to a failed so i cut them off. And I dont know what you mean by extend the face like vertically or horizontaly cause i thing her forehead is already to big.
How comes you redrew the hands and arms?
Are you suggesting i change them?
Her left arm definitely needs change tbh
Cause the back of the hand was showing so that she can show of the hand mark from the show
horizontal
I like that detail but the pose of the arm is physically impossible
You could try to do a pose in the mirror and reference it for the arm
The one on screen?
use yourself as reference
Yep
to get the arm
Exactly
it’s okay if you don’t want to do it but for it to be more…complete you’ll have to put the effort on doing what you don’t want to do
Maybe i'm double jointed cause I did the arm pose?
if you want to take a break and just practice arms, legs and hands it’ll help you get better in composition
hey thanks to you i’m going to draw today
I cant remember if i sent this before so ill wend it now this is the charecter in the drawing.
Yeah Anime skirts tend to be short for ... reasons and my autisic ass likes being as accurate to the show as possible so sorry if it looks... wierd.
Also I just reakised she has dots on her sleeves
the skirt is actually fine i would just add a little more thigh to the drawing
don’t forget the tism gives you powers
just look up tennis skirts and learn folds
they’re very IN now
Learn fold and anatomy are the too things i always get told
sounds like you’re heading towards the right direction
I treied anotomy and just got bored since I already do it in colledge
i’m teaching my siblings to draw and paint. what people don’t tell you is that
drawing is NOT fun
drawing becomes fun after you learn all the technical shit
Eh I got away with mostly natrual skill so far since im a shit study
yeah you’ll be bored (i’ve been there) but being stuck in the same place just bc you didn’t want to make small improvements isn’t favorable either
I just look up the stuff when i need it
that’s all you need just be consistent and sprinkle some knowledge like the anatomy of a hand or arm or somethigg
I know how muscles look since im a biology major its just drawing it thats a pain in the ass
Like i know about the three main muscles in the shoulder and how they look but making it look good is so hard.
cause you have to draw what you don’t see
foreshortening
you’re overthinking it
it happens
just have an anatomy book next to you to figure out what you need and break it down by lines n shapes
again i am no teacher i just…got experience
my goal this year is to draw portraits
anatomy is my strong suit
i can draw a body with no problem
my faces are kinda uhhhh busted LOL
Im shit with faces if you couldnt tell
yours looks better than mine (:
