study simple 2 point perspective and vanishing points.
Been there done that. Definitely study 2 points perspective, breakdown building by tracing to get a good idea of how it'll look
ok.. how do i... study that?
cuz i already did that thing of drawing vanishing points in photos and stuff
2 ways to try it. 1st, place 2 dots as your horizon line and try to draw a cube using them. if that's confusing i can provide examples. second one is just tracing cubes to understand how it's done ( tracing is normally bad but if you use it to learn, it can be a great tool.)
oh yeye, i already trianed that, i've been switching between doing that on my PC and drawing objects and stuff on my notebook, i just can't draw it in perspective without the assist
so it's the angle that confuses you?
watch danbeardshaw on youtube
he had has great tutorials ,
perspective is just a bunch of rules
you just need to learn them
i can also add that
the original image is in 3 points
not 2 points
uh, no, i guess it's weird to put on words, but like, i tihnk the words is i haven't "internalized" it?
the vertical lines should also converge slightly
like, usully when you do something, or is practicing something there's that moment where you jsut go like "oh" and it clicks?
u want it to feel natural when practicing if i understand correctly?
it's not happening to me
not completely, i understand i am shit, but i want to ahve some level of skill in it?
tbh what made it click for me was just learning how perspective works and then copying cubes/angles that i was uncomfortable with. and don't call yourself shit, we all start somewhere and u started learning the correct way which i respect
do you mean you want to have an intution for it?
to get it down without having to think much about it?
some things in art you just gotta learn the basics and then grind that for a while, it's boring but that's what works for me
nono, i just wanna know wha ti am doing
you gotta learn rules perspective then
i don't wanan do it without thinkind, i jsut wanna know what i am doing
it's just taht like, someone told me a good way to learn si to copy fomr real life, but i am failing at copying from real life, because i can't copy it, it doesn't match u know?
i think you need to first know like
what stuff means
what is a vanishing point?
where do i place them?
before you can observe
i totally understand that, you might not like your results at first so try something: save this attempt, keep trying to replicate cubes from real life for a week. after each copy take note of what you think is wrong, and try to avoid that mistake.
i believe that in a week you should see improvements
uh, i've been drawung cubes and stuff for 2 weeks
actually it's more like a month, but specifically cubes it's only been 2 weeks
well some people can take longer at understanding things and that's ok. when i started doing art it took me 2 months to understand basic shapes and draw them in perspective correctly from imagination.
