I do not draw in an anime style but I do have some tips that MAYYYY help?

The grid method is certainly a very good method to use when starting out but if your looking to advance, it's better to draw your picture TOGETHER rather than one bit at a time. For example, don't sketch out the head then the body, then the arms.

Try to do it together so it looks more fitting.

I'd definitely recommend taking sometime to do some studies of real people to learn anatomy and proportions, then incorporating that knowledge into your anime/manga style.

Another thing - how to draw manga books have their perks but they arnt really useful for those trying to enhance and advance in their art journey. It has limitations, I'd recommend doing some research into manga artists online and see if they have any speed paint videos or any helpful tutorials.

If it's speed paints only, not to worry. Slow down the video and try to learn how they put it all together and incorporate that into your own work
