huge trouble with practicing

SO basically i wanna draw good so i try to practice but a LOT of the time i break down and give up because i always think it doesnt look good or its not perfect and that just results in me not making any progress or even destroy my own things because i get super frustrated, its also a jealousy issue from one part because someone i hate draws better than me and it discourages me so much and makes me think im good at nothing
if anyone has tips to prevent some of it ill be grateful because im so tired of not physically being able to progress like other people because i get frustrated so much

I think you should try starting to go from the very basic like anatomy/develop your own style/color theory. Just because you practice alot without the basic it would still be all in vain, its best you keep your head up. Art isn't meant to be perfect it meant to express yourself and show the emotions within. Pushing yourself to perfection only push you down! Hope it helps!!

Its alright to feel jealous and frustrated at time especially in a field as subjective as art, but its important you find enjoyment in what you do in art whether thats to express something/urself or to enjoy the process. Theres always going to be someone better than you no matter how good you are and thats something you cant control so the only thing you can really do is focus on yourself first.

I had this problem too for a while and my solution was to give the piece an amount of time to finish it
It forced me to finish pieces I didn't like at first and also made me not go crazy over the deatlis
The fun about art is the more you practice the better you get and it's funk if you didn't make a prefect piece as long as you learned somthing new and had fun

The way I deal with it is no one actually cares about your art as much as you do so what others think isn't as important if you put so much pressure on results you'll never want to push to getting finished pieces out of fear they won't be good enough no one cares its okay to mess things up and make mistakes we are allways growing and learning even if it feels like we are not, you can't win the race if you don't show up, show up and keep showing up becuse if you give up you guarantee you'll never win

Don't let Mistakes be the things that hold you back make them be the force that pushes you forward

You're focusing too much on what these people think and say. You claim to not care but they are completely destroying one of your hobbies. You definitely do care
Asking people to send u corn at 16 years old isn't normal, even if as a joke 💀 you are just begging for preds to talk to u
And no matter how much u hate someone, telling then to kts because... they are annoying on the internet... is not okay

There are terrible people everywhere in life. Everywhere you go there's gonna be terrible people. You need to learn to life with that fact. You can't expect the world to change around you because it hurts your feelings
