Learn the basic body structure/anatomy of animals
And then
Try humanfiying them
Add hair and ect
Id recommend looking at what features animals and humans have in common. And yes we have pretty much all the same features. Its just proportions and limitations that are different. And think about how you can combine aspects of each
Sorry for the late response; I tried to use your advice in practice but this stuff is difficult af
This is like the best I came up with, but it just looks like a poorly drawn doghead on top of some clothing
Thank you btw for your answers
I mean that kinda is what furry is
If you get better at drawing animal heads it'll naturally look more convincing but it's already mostly there!
It looks to me like youre only drawing outlines and not doing any structure
Yes, definitely gotta practice more
Can you elaborate? I'm kinda stupid
How to furry art?
As in you know
Sketches, circles rectangles etc to get the basic form in
Like how you'd draw a circle to eventually get a apple
What she's trying to say is you're just drawing the outline and no sketches
Just going in for the details right to the get go
Ah, so like guidelines n stuff?
Yeah tbh, I don't think I actually used any guidelines in that pic haha. Just a few references and then eyeballing it
Like a sketch, you know
-# you do know what a sketch is right?
😞
Nah jokes aside, how did u do that with the text?
Like writing it all tiny like that
And also, isn't this just a Sketch? What do u define as a Sketch?
-# interesting
-# interesting indeed
-# since when does this exist lol
I thought abt that statement once more, and I think u didn't meant a Sketch in the sense of, like, a Sketch as it is, but rather as a guideline type of layer below the "line art" layer, didn't u?
Indeed that
Like for example
That's a sketch
-# not mine btw
