yes
its supposed to be for a contest for a college
and if anything i think i have like alot less information than many other people and im planning to add a bit on my background
im pretty sure the poster is supposed to be printed around 30x40 inches
but do you have any recommendations to make it stand out more
one of the easiest ways to make it stand out is to have a dark background
you'll have to make sure the text is readable, light colour and bold enough tho
also the layout is good enough but if you think you could experiment with a bit of a different grid layout so that the pictures kinda overlap or arent exactly in the same line, it would make it more fun
uhh
my teacher said having a darker background is bad because money plays a part in printing it too
fair enough
or he said it was like more expensive to print because of the size
and that the larger ones cost around 20-40 per
(we have a print lab at college and i make the most use of it lol)
this was mine originally
but he said i should change the dark background because the darker ones typically dont win because of the cost
which do you think it better
the teacher nerfed you fr
so u think i go for my original
wait wdym for the grid layout
i mean i think sir has a point, if its an actual factor thats going to be considered then i think you should make it lighter
also, any restrictions on 2d/single print sheet?
so there are swiss, japanese, german grid systems, you take the general grid and try to keep all the information in just the boxes, but you move them around a bit like in the second image yk?
the way i learnt it, humans are still predatory animals first, we love having our eyes move because it feels like chasing prey, it makes us feel good
design yeah but first year, barely know anything in regards to the field
