I would either completely use the shape tool or not at all

Because the shakieness with some lines is obvious

Another thing I would do it add an outline or some flat shadow

I mean you are getting there but i should warn you that as although there is no such thing as bad or fake art

Using the shape tool, adding a face, and filling it in will not improve your skills by much

Maybe try freehand ing your next art project or sketching it
