I love her design and colour!! I might be super wrong as I think it's already super good but maybe the outer corners of her bottom eyelids are a bit too squearish? But again, it might be her character design and I'm wrong 🩷 But again, adorable drawing

Ahh yess I can see. The subtle change is so much better in my opinion because it keeps her original eye shape but "rounds it" up a bit. 🩷

okayyy so i think the proportions may be the thing thats bothering you you can draw the eyes higher bc it can look like she got a really big forehead or make her hair a bit smaller (like the 2nd pic) you can also change the way to pupils placed:)

its some really small chnges overall, the art is arting:)

First, I think her mouth is too close to the chin or too far away from the nose (it might as well be both)

Second I think her eyes are either too big or too close from each other

And last, either her neck is too long or the deltoid muscle are not attached correctly

I think that If you want to keep the mouth close to the chin , you got to bring the eyes and the nose closer to it in order to keep the whole coherent and give the "cute little face effect"

Maybe, but then it might look like really small face and big head
It sound a bit strange but if you take her head (especially where the hair is) and make it smaller then it will make a better balance with the face
The whole eyes/mouth/neck is more of an art style choice then making it realistic

(I am aware that it looks like I'm trying to be right at all cost but I swear that it is just because English isn't my first language ,I genuinely want a debate and don t know how to show it)

guys dw about art styles i literally just started drawing so im just trying to improve and i agree that she looks weird so i will try to implement these changes into other drawings

ive studied color theory and rendering but not really proportions so i should do that next

and also i didnt use any references so thats why it looks weird ig

Yeah , I like how you manage to use shades of pink everywhere without making it a mess +making the ribbon stand out in blue

Maybe you should you should use a more vibrant tone for the eyes tho

@wind cobalt i think you should try move the lips position more up? i tried experimenting on your cute art btw,
1-2 reshape the eyelid, i dont touch the iris
3 i move lips position up
4 make hair thicker toward face
5 reshape the shoulder
