Hey everyone! I’ve been doing digital art inconsistently now for a few years. It’s not my main hobby, but I’ve been drawing and painting since I was a child. I went to Art school, but I didn’t start making digital art until a few years ago.

PS: this is far from finished. I want to know if you can tell what you are looking at. Does it look like a jumbled mess, or is it distinguishable? I’m worried it just looks like…a muddled mess with no clear features. I can make out what it is cause I know what I’m drawing, but I’m worried it doesn’t come across the same for others.

I’d also like to know how to save the quality after exporting. I use a newer model iPad with Pro-create.

Here is an updated picture with a little more detail

I’ll take no feedback as a sign I guess 🥴🥴

i would love a bit more dappled light, like those sunlight going through leaves light, where it hits the tentacles below, not too much but enough to see just a little bit of what cthulus texture feels like down there

#

another reminder that people not replying is normal! some people are just simply afraid, or just dk how to improve on this, never assume the worst brother! 💯

#

also unless this is set in space, there must be bounce light hitting the back of cthulus head

#

as for exporting, as long as you retain image information as 100% quality and in png it should be as high res as in your canvas

I’m sorry, I just saw newer post getting feed back & I’m honestly use to my post not getting any comments. I have several post across multiple socials where no one comments or give feed back, so sometimes I take it a little personally even when I know it’s stupid to 😭😭

So small scattered highlights throughout the tentacles, and if it’s in space don’t add bounce light to the back. Should there still be some sort of lighter colors behind him, or just darkness with enough lighter colors to show the form?

Doesn't seem like a jumbly mess to me

Really really solid shading

some "impossible" textures could also work in your favor too! like those swirl paint patterns or even rocks for skin
