I wanna do digital art but don’t have a tablet (I hope that me not having one was assumed) and I want one of those screen ones that you plug into your pc, and I found one through google but lemme know if there’s
A. A better source
B. Lower price
C. More reliable company

I think getting a cheap screenless tablet from xp pen, huion or wacom would be a good. like it'll feel weird at first but like after a while, you'll get used to it.

#

Like the build quality on screenless tablets are generally really good even if they're cheap

#

and it doesn't really affect your art quality once you get use to it.

#

I don't personally use a screenless one but this is my friends art who uses a really cheap wacom screenless tablet. So like it doesn't really affect your line quality in anyway once you get used to it.

#

Either way, if you're fine with using a screenless tablet and getting that hand eye co-ordination adjusted it's a good option

Ye if you're tight on a budget screenless tablets are really not as bad as some ppl think

I've been using the same wacom screenless tablet since 2017, it's reliable and really doesn't take long to get used to

i also recommend buying a small screenless tablet, it's worth trying out and try to get used to (which should be easy if you play osu) before spending more on an investment that you might not need/use

#

in my opinion, it's a lot more important to invest in a good monitor, as you can use it for none art related things

#

screenless tablets also don't lock you out of potential monitor upgrades

I have a screen less tablet and it’s honestly not for me, using a screen tablet (I’m including an iPad since I’ve used my moms) is so much better for me, as a traditional art buff, but digital art lover, I feel screen tablets are perfect for people who like the digital look and traditional way (seeing your tool make the marks) of art, there is no best way to do art, there’s no superior art form, there’s just preference and taste, and my preference is a screen, also to address the monitor thing, I use a laptop, I can’t change that monitor

i have the xp pen artist 12 pro and i fucking love it. fantastic, had it for years and it's never broken down on me. did have some slight calibration issues out of box but that might just be my poor luck w tech stuff. its a dream to draw with though you may want to get a textured screen protector as well. the 13 pro will last you and you probably wont need to purchase anything else for a good while but if you're looking for the absolute cheapest, go screenless
