So I followed a tutorial on water droplets and made a chrome material for a can along the way. I want to add a label to the can, with nodes, so that I can just drag and drop different pics in, like a template.
Here's the problem, I got everything working but all at a sudden, the areas of my can that should be chrome are black.
I’m hoping that I can just tweak my setup but lemme know what the quickest to sort this would be.

Can you show us this texture?
Ur using it to mask your materials
Wich is not an ideal way to to texture stuff
its better to assign a different material to the faces that need the label and faces that are chome
instead of tying to combine them into one
Hey so I figured out pieces of the puzzle by creating uv maps, one for my whole can and one for the label area.
But because of the water droplet node setup I’m able to set a material for the can in there.
It’s in this material that I have my shader set up for masking.
I don’t like the way it blends here, I want something sharper and I think it’s because of the method you’re talking about
How do I do it like you’re advising?
