hello puff, if you're in a rush to finish this i'll ignore the more fundamental problems and only mention the ones that are easy to fix:

  1. highlights are not consistent. the highlights in her eyes imply the light source is coming from the top left, so the hair highlights should reflect that

  1. you forgot to add a shadow between her ring finger and pinky
#
  1. one eyebrow is above the hair and one is under
#
  1. her hoodie string should enter the hoodie through a hole

  1. is that her thumb nail?? it's wayyy too big

last thing that's easy to fix is the back of her hair

also wazzzaaa owl

#

you prolly submitted it already but for the sake of it;
try to match the level of shadows throughout

  • example would be the backhair shadow is very dark and prominent, but everywhere else like skkn and especially clothing have so light and small shadows that you cant really tell where the light source even is

if you really want your art to pop/more appealing, try playing with harder angles
what i mean would be to try ensuring that your eyeline and your shoulderline are not parallel, and the text could be angled harder towards the character (see attached)

mb for the shitty ahh remix im outside

#

the more parallel the eye/shoulderline is, the more static it will look

viceversa if its less parallel and more angled, it will look more energetic

#

so u can play with that angle to achieve the exact energy level you want your character to have

#

that doesnt mean that having it parallel is always bad; if you want a cold/solemn look it might be good to have that parallel angle

This is just me but I'd probably give her some top teeth

#

Just like a strip of tooth as an idea

unreal osprey
#

It looks good still teeth or no teeth

#

Sorry for drawing over it it was just to get the idea across fast in case u liked it

#

Also added some simple shadows in eyes and hand
