I'm so genuinely lost. I need help with 3D vision, being able to view art, scenarios, and things in 3d shapes. it's so hard for me. what fundamental do I need to get better at? My first art is in an attempted anime style, the second being semi realism/realism, and the third being my own style. The three art pieces after are the goals I want to achieve. The last three are NOT my art, and I don't know who it is. But I want to get around that level. My art seems to feel flat or dead. and I want to work to improve, any criticism would be heavily appreciated.
#What do I even do to improve?

Try and study form I’d say, also use layers of shadow
get good at drawing shapes with perspective. Getting the skills to access your mistakes is really important, gotta practice
Two things both ik sound boring as hell but they will speed up ur art progression so much first step away from drawing faces and practice drawing still lives learning how to draw a good still life will teach u form and shadows in a blink second after u practice a bunch of still lives practice realism because realism is the foundation of all style you won't know what to exaggerate if you don't first know the forms of what you are exaggerating
