It sort of looks like the horse was just placed on top of the background so maybe cut off part of the hooves in the water so it looks more in the water, also add a shadow of some sorts.

Make the subject pop with much more contrast, highlights, detail.
If you're going to add that reflection, it needs to meet its origin. Why have a gap there??
