Hi! I´m just starting out with oil paint i´ve drawn a lot digital so this is a bit more challenging.
The problem is I don´t know how to make my art look more alive. I am aware I need to make the eyes more detailed!! But what else, I want to make realistic art but without making a lot of brush strokes?

Something I’m immediately seeing is the eye. The eye you’ve painted is more of a front view. You need to take into account the perspective. The eye size is essentially gonna be cut in half, and you’re not gonna really see the corner, only enough to show the perspective.
