Eyes look to big and far from each other. The one that covered by hair is almost outside the face. Also it looks kinda asymmetrical. Try to flip the image horizontally
Here I drew center line and asymmetry is seen better
Lips on strange angle, nose is not on the center, shape of eyes different too. I advise you to draw center line while drawing portraits. It helps very much, I do that every time if its not very fast sketch
tysm!
Ur biggest issue is proportions, here's this to help out #1324681119609655306
And your shading isn't bad, but it's also not the best, try doing it this way next time #1313625397048381551
And lastly if you want to improve on this aspect, here's these

I disagree with this, this would be good advice on certain body parts, mainly knowing the difference between tight flesh and loose flesh, you can determine whether things should be strictly in place, or there can be verity,
Here is examples for both:
loose flesh
- cheeks
- eyebrow line
- lips and surrounding mouth muscles.
tight flesh
- Elbows and knees
- feet
- hands
- cranium
- collarbone
And some that vary depending on body composition fo the subject:
- neck
- chest and ribcage
- shoulders
- lower legs.
Relating back to the main point, the mouth can move in many ways and still be correct, where as on tight skin it would look odd, and since the face is mostly loose flesh except for the bridge of the nose where the bone is, it will be alright to an extent.
Yes, but in that case new problems appear. If mouth must be asymmetric to show any kind of emotion then it's do not understandable enough on this piece. It doesn't look like emotion but like mistake. In that case it's okay with anatomy but there is problem with original idea
Also area around mouth looks wrong. I talk about these light lines. Maybe it should be wrinkles but in that case they are just anatomically wrong
Ah, about this you are correct, the lines from the nose to the mouth should begin and end at the same place as to eachother, but within that space it mostly depends on the expression of the character. (addressing o.p.)
