the standing splits is a really difficult thing because its not entirely intuitive what the body is doing, the spine does a lot more twisting and turning than we might expect and so we tend to misunderstand the orientation of the pelvis, the torso tends to come forward infront of the leg as we force it to be vertical, so they shouldnt really be in the same plane. It might be best to draw from the legs down first, and have the upper body work around that. There 2 types of standing splits, one where the pelvis is mostly level, and one leg is forward, akin to your front splits, and one where the pelvis is rotated nearly a whole 90 degrees upward, and the legs split akin to a side split. You seem to be drawing the latter. Imagine someone doing the side splits, the legs always follow the orientation of the pelvis, if the knees are pointed forward, the pevlis is flat against the ground, if the knees are pointed upward, the pelvis is in the usual orientation. In a standing splits, the raised leg will orient its knee towards the torso. Look at an image of a hip bone and youll see exactly why its unusual to not have the orientation be as such. The leg can just directly up or the trochanter will collide with the pelvis, the bone must first twist so that the trochanter is placed behind the leg bone during side splits.

Additionally, the muscles should be pretty tensioned, especially the abductor and hamstring they shouldnt be dead straight but straight enough that it looks tensioned, it also deforms the skin, the gracialis too but less so.
