Eyes look odd?

[magic mirage]

I don’t know what’s wrong, but it seems to look worse when I attempt to color in the white of the eyes. Could it be the shape?

[mortal raptor]

personally looks fine and appropriate for the artstyle, maybe outline the eys with black ink? like close the eyes up and not leave them just a black line with a dot? but personally I think the eys look fine

Alright imma try that thank you ☝️

I think the value of the eyes contrast too much with the skin
