Depends on the environment, if I want depressing like the 20’s personally I think the 1st design fits more with the 20s, but that’s just me

Remeber that the end of the 20s was the literal Great Depression

Yeah i think i might go with the first design and use the 60s timeline. That way i can create a big contrast with the bright camp.
