Anything to adjust or add? (Coloring and environmental light)

Im working on a drawing for my younger sister for Christmas

i consider it nearly finish but want some criticisms on the coloring and if the lighting needs some more adjustment maybe

this is amazing. id make the ground more clear. kinda feels like the ground is also the sky? but if thats the intention of making it ambiguous, then its great

it is kinda supposed to have this ehh soft painterly style but i think i know what you mean
i kinda struggle with making very detailed backgrounds 😭

i did experiment around a bit more with the values but the middle of the backgrund i kept bright so that the horse and my sister get basically some sort of "spotlight"
