so this character is dante from dante's inferno. the idea is that heaven is opening for him after his "journey" through hell, and heavenly light is shining down on him and purifying his sins aka the blood. does it look better with or without the yellowish tint? is there a better way of adding a yellowish tint that portrays heavenly light?

Yellowish tint all the way! But I'd throw in some cooler guess too :0

But dude you're missing the most important thing - the light rays shining down on him!! On such a black background they'd be very apparent plus add to the holy atmosphere :0

Hello ! I believe a harsh shadow would help you pop out a light instead of colors, here is a take to help you :

And then a red overlay on the shadow to reflect that blood idea of yours
