How can I improve this

I feel it looks alr but I want to see how I can improve

The focus is solely on the hair which is so rendered it makes the flattish character look unfinished ;-;
And the glasses get really lost cause they blend in with the hair color
The pupil is also odd cause it's overlapping hair on some parts but being overlapped on others

The stylistic doodle lines outside the character are kinda distracting too since they draw the eye with how light they are compared to the rest of the piece

Also the background color is quite similar in value to the skin 🤔
