Is making a comic hard. I realize just know how draw people isnt going to be enough. But backgrounds, inking, paneling, are also going to play into factors. That’s probably why mangaka have assistance because they can’t handle the work load by themselves. I wanna do a comic, I know it’s gonna be hard work if it’s just myself.

I've never done a comic, so I can't say much, but, you should make some test panels. Even if you can't do a full-out comic from the beginning, start with something small, get used to doing it in this form. Maybe you'll realize that's not really what you wanted, or you'll be super hyped and you'll also have at least some experience in working with comic panels. In conclusion, it doesn't hurt to try! Experience and practice are never thrown away. Just don't go all out on this and try to make it official, take it slow, test the waters before diving

by yourself? yes. you will be writing, storyboarding, sketching, inking, paneling, screentoning, typographing all by yourself

if you have all the time in the world, it will take you a while to make a chapter

Yes it's very very hard making sure the art and story is both good and fits well together

I reccomend doing lots of concepts sketches and ideas and character turnarounds before even starting
